 Thanks for the patch :) I confirm \G works better now, and the spec suite
 still passes for me, so no regression in sight. However, it looks like the
 problem reported above is still valid:

 /Users/lrz/src/macruby-trunk/t.rb:2:in `<main>': can't convert nil into
 String (TypeError)
 }}}

 I'm reopening the ticket.
