 I just downloaded Ruby 1.8.7 on my mac, but my system keeps wanting to
 look at
 the installed version 1.8.6.  I am getting an error when I try to use rake
 in my
 application.  I also just downloaded Rails 2.3.5, but have a back up of
 Rails
 2.3.4.
 [BUG] cross-thread violation on rb_gc()
 ruby 1.8.6 (2009-06-08) [universal-darwin9.0]

 Can anybody point me in the right direction?
