In-Reply-To: Message-ID: CAC frameworks have been deprecated in 10.7 Lion. It looks like you'll need either Thursby's PKInit or Centrify's DirectControl. In-Reply-To: Message-ID: There are some inaccuracies in this last post that need to be clarified ... First, there is currently no such product as "Thursby's PKInit", we do have PKard and ADmitMac PKI (and soon an iOS offering) PKard is a low price implementation of support for ALL CAC and PIV cards for both Lion and Snow Leopard. This includes the Oberthur CACNG cards. ADmitMac PKI is for adding a Mac directly to a government network (definitely not for the individual purchaser). Second, and I hope that Centrify chimes in to clarify, their DirectControl product tries to compete with the ADmitMac PKI offering. Once again, not a solution for individual users. I have seen no public announcements of how they are handling CAC and CACNG with Lion. - Bill Thursby On 7/29/11 10:26 AM, "Smart Card Services Announcements" wrote: > CAC frameworks have been deprecated in 10.7 Lion.
