Oh, also, if it's not already, make sure /Library/Fonts, /System/ 
Library/Fonts and ~/Library/Fonts are in the default font path.   I  
wanna figure out what we need to do to get dfonts to work natively,  
but that's neither super-critical nor clear how to fix.
