I'm afraid, it works now :)
The first time I started it I really had US mapping.
With and without x11-debug.txt I have my CH-DE map back.
Tried several times to reproduce but I can't get it to _not_ work.
So I think the lines you requested are no longer needed, right?
Anyway, I learned something about debugging, thanks.
