[Xquartz-dev] 2.2.1_rc1 and Xquartz-1.4.0-apple3

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is here.  Can you please  
elaborate what you mean, and can you confirm that it is a regression?   
AFAIK, there has never really been any direct support in the server  
for .app bundles.  I think the apps that do it (OO.o, Gimp, etc) have  
a helper application that does IPC to tell the X11 application to move  
to the foreground in X11 and activates X11.app... but I'm not sure.

Can you please give me a bit more detail on your issue.
