[Xquartz-dev] 2.2.1_rc1 semi-functional on multi-head display

At work I have an extra screen attached to my MBP -- it's configured
to be to the left and above the built-in display (but the built-in
display has the menubar and Dock). I tried 2.2.1_rc1 both with the
included Xquartz (1.3.0-apple<something>) and with
Xquartz-1.4.0-apple3, and saw the same results -- I'm unable to drag
any X11 windows beyond about the left 1/5 of my built-in display (the
rightmost one). I had started the X11.app after the screens were
detected in this configuration. I could move it anywhere on the
leftmost (external) display.

I reverted back to the 2.2.0.1 package and all is well again.

Anything I can look at for you related to this?
