No, that has nothing to do with it. org.x.startx.plist just still
gets installed on Tiger. You should delete it from /Library/
LaunchAgents... it doesn't have any effect on Tiger.
Tiger uses the traditional X11 unix socket in /tmp/.X11-unix/
Try macports rather than compiling it on your own. Macports doesn't
install that plist.
