[Xquartz-dev] freezing keyboard

I updated today to OS 10.5.4 and the problem described below
disappeared. I then installed X11 2.3.0-rc4, X11-1.4.2-apple2, and
Xquartz-1.4.2-apple2 on top and here it is again.
