You need to upgrade xorg-applewmproto and xorg-libAppleWM. Just do:
sudo port -v upgrade outdated
to upgrade all the outdated ports on your system.

applewm != applewmproto . The first one is the library (the xorg-
libAppleWM port). The second one is the protocol headers package (the
xorg-applewmproto port).
