[Xquartz-dev] Not autoswitching X11 -> Aqua -> X11

Dunno if this is related - but I sometimes get momentary loss of focus  
when my screen desktop decides to move onto the next image. I run a  
screen setup where the desktop image is taken from a folder of images  
and is changed every 30 mins. This is not sufficiently annoying to  
make me complain, and perhaps is a 'Finder feature' - I presume that  
it's too busy messing with image resize to pass on keyboard events  
(just guessing).
