Yeah, I suppose this is a bug... but it's not one that I'm particular  
concerned about.  Fixing it would require quite a bit of hackery on  
top of the amalgamation of hackery that we are already doing for copy/ 
paste ...

still... interesting that you were able to notice it ;)
