[Xquartz-dev] pymol launches slower under Xquartz/MacPorts X11

Jeremy,
   An intial attempt at building MacPorts pymol against a
test MacPorts freeglut package seems to confirm that the
slow appearance of the pymol tk window is due to the MacPorts
glut. The pymol tk interface window appears significantly
faster when pymol is linked against freeglut (for the first
launch).
