mkdir ~/.xinitrc.d
cp /opt/X11/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/10-fontdir.sh ~/.xinitrc.d
nano -w ~/.xinitrc.d/10-fontdir.sh

Remove these two lines:
        [ -e /Library/Fonts/fonts.dir ] && fontpath="$fontpath,/Library/Fonts"
        [ -e /System/Library/Fonts/fonts.dir ] && fontpath="$fontpath,/System/Library/Fonts"
