Actually, I think I figured out another reason those could happen ... if you had no active display.  When you were generating these logs, did you ever attach a monitor, sleep your display, or do something else which might've caused X11 to momentarily think there were no displays attached?

I'm seeing similar logs just posted in the RandR crashing after sleep bug report:
