See http://www.mail-archive.com/macports- users(a)lists.macosforge.org/msg06629.html for the gory details. One problem is that both py-cairo and py25-cairo end up having to be installed because gnome-menus pulls in py25-gtk despite being a py-gnome descendant. For some reason, my reply to the list was lost. Meld is not the problem. py-gnome is.
