Attached patch makes python25 use it, and falls back to the default if it is not set (as with base versions <= 1.6). After going through configure.ac, I don't see any reason it complained as it seems they are not glib dependencies. This version has a problem that the signature is delay-signed. The latest mono (2.0, which I also installed using MacPorts) does not allow for delay-signed assemblies to be loaded in the gac. Hence, the install of MonoDoc using MacPorts breaks on install.
