So I set the following flags in macports.conf: build_arch i386, universal_archs ppc i386, macosx_deployment_target 10.4 I managed to build a few libraries successfully (libpng, fltk...) But I get a configure error for Perl5.8, saying that -lutil cannot be found. I tried port clean, and also a complete port reinstall, neither worked. I cannot find which is this library that -lutil refers too.
