I propose to do this automatically when combining `+docs` with `+gui` and `+python34` . The latter condition is because Python 2.7 appears to crash when building the documentation; I have not checked if this also occurs without building the documentation in Qt format. (That does not seem impossible because the .qch file is generated from the HTML documentation, and appears to be built in the destroot step while the crash occurs during the build phase.) Half of them only exist if one of the other half are selected. Cool. The feature is mostly geared towards port developers working on a new version of a port. When multiple patch files require changes it can be gain of time when one can refrain from having to do port clean repeatedly. My suggestion on macports-dev to implement something like this didn't elicit any reaction so I whipped up something myself.
