Unfortunately, my group name has a space and backslash in it. This cannot be changed at my organization: {{{ > whoami johndoe > id -g -n `whoami` NDC\Domain Users }}} MacPorts doesn't work when you try to ./configure and then make install. I currently have a workaround; the general idea is to use a numeric group ID instead of group name. #47972: LaTeXML: texlive-related improvements -------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: mojca@… | Owner: bruce.miller@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Keywords: | Port: LaTeXML -------------------------+---------------------------- I would like to suggest the following improvements: * try to figure out the smallest subset of texlive to make `latexml +texlive` functional (possibly defining different `depends_build` and `depends_run`) * calling `system /usr/texbin/mktexlsr` might be problematic (the files from MacTeX might be owned by `root`) * one might want to disable calling `mktexlsr` during `make install` * I can imagine that `depends_build` might not even need to depend on anything from TeX Live even with `+texlive` variant: all the package needs to do is to copy two files to the appropriate place (or am I wrong?). It introduces support for Qt5 (and is "somewhat prepared" for a future appearance of KF5 in MacPorts) through a subport. Support for GTk2 is moved to a subport too, to avoid a combinatorial explosion of variants. Thus: - QtCurve still provides KDE4 and/or Qt4 support - qt5-QtCurve provides Qt5 and in the future also KF5 support - QtCurve-gtk2 provides GTk2/X11 support I named the subports in line with what seems to be usual, i.e. a prefix for Qt5 and a suffix for GTk2. qt5-QtCurve was tested with my own "concurrent" Qt5 install but ought to work just as well with the exclusive qt5-mac version currently in MacPorts.
