how to reconfigure f2py

Hello, I am having troubles using f2py with g95. I have Macports 1.6.0 on Leopard 10.5.1 PPC: py-numpy @1.0.4 python/py-numpy python24 @2.4.4 lang/python24 g95 @0.90 lang/g95 When I run f2py, it tries to run g95 with a "-shared" flag. g95 does have a "-shared" flag. It uses "-dynamic". I found the compiler settings in /opt/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/numpy/distutils/fcompiler/g95.py I am now trying to change them, but I do not know how to reconfigure f2py. I assume that I must rerun a setup.py script, but I do not know which one, nor which options I should use. Would someone please tell how to reconfigure f2py? Cannot install gimp-app (libgnomeprint fetch problem)

Hi All! May I ask for help? I'm trying to install gimp-app package and it ends up with error.Is there a way how can I solve it? Thank you in advance. myodbc 5.1.1?

Is there any chance that a portfile for the MySQL odbc 5.1.1 drivers are coming soon? I tried getting it to compile and work with the macports mysql5, but found it quicker to just pay for some commercial drivers for the moment. The only problem with the MySQL provided binaries is that they're looking for the sock file in the wrong place. If I knew anything about authoring a portfile I'd try... -Justin

Hi there, I did a successful install like this: sudo port install php5 +apache2 +mysql5 +server Now, I discovered that php5 wasn't configured with postgres, that's why I wanted to repeat the process, this time using the postgres variant. So, I did an uninstall and clean of php5, mysql5 and apache2, and entered this: sudo port install php5 +postgresql +pear +universal +macosx +apache2 +mysql5 +server But then I received the following error message: checking for openssl/ssl.h... yes OK checking openssl/engine.h usability... yes checking openssl/engine.h presence... yes checking for openssl/engine.h... yes checking for SSLeay_version in -lcrypto... no checking for SSL_CTX_new in -lssl... no checking for ENGINE_init... no checking for ENGINE_load_builtin_engines... no checking for SSL_set_cert_store... no configure: error: ... I am running Macports 1.6 OS X 10.5 xcode 3.0 xquartz 2.1.3 python24 installs fine but gives me bus errors for the simplest of things like printing a list. Someone else mentioned this too back in Nov but I didnt see any responses to the thread. Also py-mysql won't compile (log not show since python itself is unstable). So I tried python25/py25-mysql and python25 won't even compile. I am new to OSX and Macports, but if I can't get python working ... Okay, so I thought I'd stick with the system python and downloaded the source for python-mysql from sourceforge. bug for installing Macports?

Hello, I have installed both XCode Tools and X11 on my Mac and I am getting this failed message at the end of the installation: Install Failed: "run postflight script" However it seems that it makes the install into the /opt directory so when I try to run it I get this another message concerning rsync: $maccomputer:~ userz$ sudo /opt/local/bin/port install aspell-en Warning: Can't open index file for source: rsync://rsync.macports.org/release/ports/ $maccomputer:~ userz$ Is this a known bug for Leopard or am I missing something? I had this running fine on my Tiger installation, I just updated the OS. And I am beginning to regret it... Thanks for any help.

problems with libtk 8.5

I installed the py25-tkinter port which got me tk 8.5.
