Hi there
I installed DCS with your instructions and after some fiddling it installed
fine. I can access the server through the webinterface and browse through
the DCS collections. However, when I try to add the caldav server in iCal I
get this message: "Account information not found. Request encountered an
unexpected error (domain (null) / code 0).".
The run log file shows this:
2008-02-11 17:48:44+0100 [-] [caldav-8008] [HTTPChannel,0,10.0.0.105]
PROPFIND /calendars/users/admin/calendar/ HTTP/1.1
2008-02-11 17:48:45+0100 [-] [caldav-8008] [HTTPChannel,1,10.0.0.105]
PROPFIND /calendars/users/admin/calendar/ HTTP/1.1
2008-02-11 17:48:45+0100 [-] [caldav-8008] [HTTPChannel,1,10.0.0.105]
"Directory service <SudoDirectoryService 'Test Realm':
FilePath('/opt/CalendarServer/conf/sudoers.plist')> has no GUID; generating
service GUID from realm name."
When I try adding the account a second time (without restarting the service)
I just get:
2008-02-11 17:50:08+0100 [-] [caldav-8008] [HTTPChannel,2,10.0.0.105]
PROPFIND /calendars/users/admin/calendar/ HTTP/1.1
2008-02-11 17:50:08+0100 [-] [caldav-8008] [HTTPChannel,3,10.0.0.105]
PROPFIND /calendars/users/admin/calendar/ HTTP/1.1
Any idea what could be wrong here?
And one more question, what's the advantage of running DCS over a generic
caldav server such as DAViCal?
Thanks
tomcal
