[CalendarServer-users] Install of CalenderServer fails on Ubuntu 10.04

Hello Andre (and friends :),
Can you guys help me get ICal Server to send email invitations to external invitees without using the Apple Mail Server bundled with SL Server. I got it working once out of the box, not exactly, but close enough; I simply had created a gmail (IMAP) account dedicated to testing the email invitation feature. it worked flawlessly, then i decided to replace the gmail settings with my registered domain's email settings. From then on the email invitation feature refuses to work. Right nw all it seems to do is report errors to the infamous debug log such as the following:

Hes just a guy i wanna invite to my companies meeting, Its almost like Ical Server want all attendees/invitees to be an OD User,which i suspect has something to do with free/busy attendee info preprocessing )

If only i knew all the components involved in this deranged symphony perhaps i could make some headway.
PS: i deleted the two main Keychain entries associated with the default apple supplied user : com.apple.calendarserver , which makes it kinda hard to revert back to the apple supplied user for sending and receiving email invitations.
Where can i go from here, aside from a complete reinstallation (not in this lifetime) considering everything else on this server works a charm?

> Well, don't run memcached as root. Are you setting UserName and GroupName in caldavd.plist? These should be set to some non-root user that can be used for running the various daemons. See caldavd-apple.plist for an example. You may need to create a user account for this purpose, though it should be fine to test it using your personal account.
