No one said we had to support everything.  It's quite trivial to build x86_64 and i386 on the same box.  No one should be using -O3 so there's no real benefit beyond that level of compilation (feel free to correct me).

Also, I've got a lot of x86_64 and i386 archives on-hand.  SHould I put them online and add them as an archive source?
