[SmartcardServices-Users] PIVKey t800

I have been testing with a PIVKey T800.  Supposedly it works fine with the native drivers however it is not recognized.  On El Capitan modifying the file so that it is recognized (as recommended by PIVKey) is a pain.  My question is, is there a reason why we can’t include the PIVKey identifiers in the smart card services install so that everything just works in El Capitan?  Please help me understand what I’m missing.  Thanks.
