[Xquartz-dev] x11-exec

Well, it's a step in the right direction... to bad it doesn't actually  
work =/

It x11-exec gets executed which causes X11.app to get executed, which  
causes Xquartz to get executed.  My xterm shows up, but I don't have a  
dock icon or menu bar...
