[Xquartz-dev] X11 2.2.0 Final

OpenOffice works if you start it manually.  The bug is on OpenOffice's  
side, not our side of things.  They don't use $DISPLAY as given to  
them.  Bug OO.o to get a fix.  I provided a solution to the problem  
and it should be in the list archives.

wine's issue isn't wine so much as it is GLX at large.  This is a  
_very_ big undertaking.  I have no experience messing around in the  
Mesa innards or writing DRI drivers.  It will not be addressed in  
2.2.1 or 2.2.2.  My main concern is stability in the server and  
syncing us up to 1.4 (and 1.5).  That way, we will benefit from bug  
fixes that the community is finding and fixing rather than using this  
old 1.3 server branch.

GLX is in the cards, but the deck isn't stacked in its favor at the  
moment.
