Yes, it removes them. And yes, this breaks building anything
libtool-using that links against things that have been built with
previous versions of X11 on Leopard.

If this decision to break backward compatibility is upheld, Fink (and I 
guess macports, too) will be forced to warn everyone *not* to install 
these new versions. I am going back to rc4 now.
