Martin, it would be really helpful if you would assist us in finding a
solution to your libtool-archive bug and maybe offer suggestions for
ways we can address it. This choice came about in order to address
the inconsistency between the .la files and installed binaries that
you just brought to our attention a couple days ago, and this was my
first choice of action (see the previous post for the reasons for this).
Please offer your comments, since this .la "fix" is entirely *FOR*
Fink and Macports.
