However it takes only a few seconds to run 'autoreconf'.  Plus, I'm  
not deleting xmkmf and imake... so it should still work on Leopard as  
long as the user doesn't delete those files.

I think it would be best for them to just run 'autoreconf' in those  
packages which were prepared with older versions of autoconf.
