[Xquartz-dev] 2.3.1_rc* and usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts/fonts.conf ???

Hmm... what happens if you run 'fc-list' (with the fonts.conf not  
copied over).  Do you see your custom fonts?

Do you have a custom ~/.fonts.conf?
