Hello everyone,

I've just uploaded a new release candidate to the server. You can
grab it here:
http://static.macosforge.org/xquartz/downloads/X11-2.3.3_rc3.dmg

As with the past few updates, the bulk of the changes have centered
around input and libGL:

I've cleaned up a bug with mouse tracking thanks to some help from the
Crossover Wine development team over at Codeweavers. As a result, you
should have smooth mouse motion in applications that "hide" the mouse
from you (games like quake, 3D modeling packages, etc).

We've also updated libGL. I made some changes to the headers, so gl.h
should behave more like GLX applications expect (ie: more "Mesa-
like"). This has fixed building of a bunch of GLX applications that
I've tested (SPECPerf among others). We've also addressed some stereo
context and removed context issues, so if you were seeing "jittering"
or "all black" (IDL), this should fix the problem.

Please give this a thorough beating and let us know how it works out.
I already have one fix in place that didn't make this rc. The "X11
tooltips appear over native apps" issue returned when I commented out
some code that was causing the 100% CPU issue for some people. 2.3.3
will see the behavior that mouse events are never sent to X11 apps
while X11.app is not the foreground app.

I think this is pretty close to final, so please let me know if there
are any more regressions or major issues left unresolved.
