Well you should.  Try uninstalling then reinstalling xinit.

/opt/local/var/macports/software/xinit/1.3.0_0+universal $ ls Library/L*
Library/LaunchAgents:
org.macports.startx.plist

Library/LaunchDaemons:
org.macports.privileged_startx.plist
