Yeah,

It looks like it's a coin toss to determine if you get the Leopard or SnowLeopard dmg when you update on SL.

I'm going to have to either fix Sparkle or version the SL versions greater than the Leopard versions in the plist.  eg, 2.5.0_rc1 is really 2.5.2 for both Leo and SL.  I may make 2.5.0_rc2 2.5.3 for Leopard and 2.5.4 for SL.

Either way, this will be fixed in the next release (which means you might still have trouble updating to the next release, but from there on it'll be fine).
