which is why I told you to keep /usr/X11 from 2.6.1 if you want to use X11_Legacy, so your fink and quartz-wm will resolve right ... 

If you want to use X11_leagacy, you can install X11-2.6.1, then remove the files I listed (specifically the /usr/X11R6 symlink and the org.x.startx LaunchAgent), then install X11_Legacy.
