[Xquartz-dev] XQuartz 2.7.2 beta5

I just woke my iMac from sleep and opened another X11 window
using the Applications menu - it appeared just fine, but
mouse and keyboard input was having no effect on any of the
X11 windows. Nothing in the Console logs, I eventually
tried Hiding (cmd-H) X11 then reselecting it from the dock,
which unjammed whatever was jammed and (at least some of)
the pending keyboard/mouse events appeared in the windows.

I will let you know if this happens again/is reproducible.

I think I've seen something similar in the past, because the
hiding trick to unjam it I've used successfully before. So
this may not be specific to beta5. I do regularly unlock
the screen (not wake from sleep, just unlock) and find that
only mouse works, no keyboard. That's easily fixed by
locking and unlocking a second time, and I don't think it is
X11 specific. This was different, the menus worked but not
the X11 windows, and other Apps were fine.

I have a network home dir that might be part of triggering
these things, if the read from some config file in my home
dir is slower than expected so some events gets out of
order?

The only blocker that I'm aware of at this point is addressing some bad scrolling behavior with some older mice (http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/ticket/562). This may just end up being a preference since the solution will probably be reverting to the older behavior which was a gross hack =/
