When new versions of Xcode are released, we can update base as needed.

EXC_BAD_ACCESS exceptions

I am building crossplatform library with test application for it. All works great under Windows, but I have problems under Mac OS X: Sometimes program terminates unexpectedly due to EXC_BAD_ACCESS exception. Those exceptions are risen in std libraries code. That is very strange situation because: 1. Under windows same code works correct. 2. Exception rises in different places after minor changes in code. And what is very suspicious is that often code that were actually changed does not affect code where exception is thrown. For instance – there were situations when I added some tracing using cout end EXC_BAD_ACCESS began to raise in other place. Some times same code works, sometimes not! 3. If I separate class/classes where I get EXC_BAD_ACCESS exception in runtime to a separate application, I never get such exceptions in that application. I build my application using Xcode v3.0. Due to suggestion on one forum I have turned optimization off. Spam control

Evening everyone! As you may have seen from my somewhat obnoxious commits recently, I abstracted *all* appearances of the openmaintainer and nomaintainer addresses in our Portfiles -- the amount of spam our lists have been blocking lately is just bewildering! So I'd like to ask everyone to please not use the full e-mail address format when switching your ports to either of those, any way in which we can reduce this spam plague is appreciated! (mails sent there forward to this list) If you choose to keep your ports with the full format, then that's your own predicament... sorry, prerogative... eeerrrrr, however you wanna put it ;-) Thanks for your help and understanding! python25 framework build

Dear Mac-Flossers! This is how I got a framework build of python25. It's a strange fix, but I don't know how to do it better. Anyhow, I hope it can provide some information so we can get a smooth framework into the portfile. Also, I wish to thank you all MacPorts workers for your great contributions. Rationale: framework is needed for ipython+matlotlib+wxagg and GNU Radio. I want the MacPorts python package rather than a manual install, because I use so many other packages depending on it. Not sure if --enable-toolbox-glue without --enable-framework would satisfy wxpython, but reading some mail about pythonw, everyone mentions the framework builds.
