It fixes a bug in g95 variant (g95 does not have -ff2c). I've seen that the nodejs port is depending on python27 and doesn't offer any other Python variants. Therefore I've created a patch to the Portfile to be able to choose between python26 and python27 (default). I can confirm that it will compile fine using python26.
