I was able to do it with a local portfile, but I had to change ```destroot.destdir INSTALL_ROOT=${destroot}``` to ```destroot.destdir DESTDIR=${destroot}``` in the Portfile for it to work ("INSTALL_ROOT" is no longer recognized by the jpegoptim configuration, replaced with "DESTDIR"). #47716: revert freetype to old filestructure, for compatibility with ftgl ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: rene.vanpaassen@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3 Keywords: freetype development ftgl | Port: freetype ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Freetype used to install most header files in <includedir>/freetype2/freetype for 2.5.5, this changed to: <includedir>/freetype2 This creates a conflict when attempting to use ftgl, which depends on freetype; on a case-insensitive mac (as most are), the ftgl FTGlyph.h is confused with freetype's ftglyph.h. For compilation with freetype, the <includedir>/freetype2 dir needs to be in the include path, which makes that all header files there are visible to the compiler. Attached portfile path reverts to the old install path, and adjusts the <includedir>/freetype2/config/ftheader.h file accordingly. This cured the issue but then I discovered a new one. I installed a fresh copy of Macports and then attempted to install the port MC. It quickly failed as did Fortune. I uninstalled Macports and then reinstalled it again. Then I tried reinstalling the same two ports. I got the same result as before. I repeated this several times and got the same result. Platform OS X 10.10.5 with Xcode 6.1 installed.
