Weird problem with ncurses(w)

Hi! There seems to be something wrong with the latest versions of ncurse (w). Hellanzb broken

Hi, I've been using hellanzb0.10 on my new Macbook Pro for some days, but now it's broken. Uninstalling deletes all these files, reinstalling recreates all of them. I tried creating an alias called "libtidy-0.99.0.dylib" pointing to libtidy-0.99.0, but that didn't work. PHP complained the image was not the right size. /opt/local/bin/tidy is present, but I don't know how to test if it is working. I have an identical Intel Mac running PHP 5.1.6 and Tidy 20051025_0 with no problem. I can't find any info about whether is is possible to transfer a portfile from another machine and install it over the newer version of PHP. Any help to get PHP running again would be appreciated. PHP5 can't find Tidy

I installed php5 +apache2 +mysql5 on OS 10.4.8 Intel. When I try to restart Apache I get the following: httpd: Syntax error on line 119 of /opt/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /opt/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libtidy-0.99.0.dylib\n Referenced from: /opt/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so\n Reason: image not found I have uninstalled and reinstalled php5 (5.2.0.0) and tidy (20051026_0) separately and together and can't get them to play together. I've cleaned, synced, selfupdated and upgraded to no avail. I have a nearly identical setup running on a PowerPC Mac with no problem, same version of php (5.2.0.0) but tidy is 20051025_0. Am I missing something? gcc41/gtk2 macports & os 10.3.9

Hello has someone managed to compile gcc41 on latest 10.3 ? same for gtk2 ? i've added extra comments on http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/ticket/10989 but even with NM problem solved, it still doesn't compile. for gtk2 http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/ticket/10699 ideas ? thanks Regards Julien

git-core requires rcs?

Hi everyone, The latest git-core Portfile makes the port rcs a runtime dependency to git-core but there is no such port called rcs, at least port search rcs doesn't show up. Do you smell a broken port? Yuen Ho Wong

fontconfig 2.4.2 compile woes

I was trying to fix the libintl.3.xxx linking problem described in the macports.org Problem Hotlist. I uninstalled and clean everything that depended on getext, and then begin putting things back. All was well until I tried to install fontconfig (see below). fontconfig's dependencies, expat and freetype, are installed and up to date. Installing an older version?

I would like to install an older version of the Apache tomcat port - One of the Tomcat-based apps I need claims that 5.5.20 has several errors and will not work unless I go back to 5.5.17. Can someone please tell me how to install an older version of a particular port (such as Tomcat)? Thanks, - Tim

Adding pcntl support to php5

It has been suggested to me that pcntl support should be added to the php5 port. I was asked to add a +pcntl variant for this, but I'm inclined to just add pcntl support always, without needing a variant. pcntl support does not require any additional libraries. Are there any objections to enabling pcntl always? Any reason I shouldn't do that?

Path And Checksum Errors In A Few Packages

While I am searching for the source of the problem to why my ports of a few packages were failing; librsvg, gnome-icon-theme, gnome-theme, gnome-speech, gtksourceview, and gnome-user-docs.
