The fetch command in Portfiles

Hello, I would like to use: fetch.ignore_sslcrt in my Portfile or: fetch.args in my Portfile but I get an error about the commands not being recognized. Is there a new way to work with the fetch target? Thanks. Doug

Urks. This is silly. Configure.cppflags overwrote the default -I$ {prefix}/include with -I${prefix}/include/boost instead of appending it. Removing that line solved the problem. Kind regards, Elias

gconf for firefox-x11 build problem

Hello I am on a mac os x 10.4.10. running X11 with fluxbox and having nothing but trouble trying to install firefox-x11. I have got the first few problems figured out using the archives and such but cant find much on this. Just tried "port > sync" and it didn't give any output. The change is committed to the Subversion repository, but changes only get copied to the rsync server a couple times a day. I'm not sure what schedule it's currently on, but if you wait 12 hours, then you'll be sure the change is available. Then you "sudo port sync" to retrieve the fixed portfile, then "sudo port -ncuf upgrade mysql5" to reinstall mysql5 with the fix. That should do it. I'm not sure what output "port sync" is supposed to print, actually. I have my MacPorts set to use Subversion, not rsync, for the ports tree, so I see different output than you would.

You can always install GNU netcat from source. I think I remember that it's a pretty straightforward compile. hello, sorry about the previous mail, I was trying to install the wrong file.tar ! but I still get an error with the rigth one : octave:3> pkg install /Users/timbrochier/Desktop/Telechargements/ octcdf-1.0.4.tar make: *** [all] Error 1 error: 'make' returned the following error: *** netcdf libraries or headers missing However, I installed netcdf on my computer using fink (for exemple the command ncdump works corectly), so why doesn't it recognise it? many thanks if you can help me, Timothée
