Disable the "Update Pasteboard when CLIPBOARD changes" and "Update  
CLIPBOARD when Pasteboard changes". If you disable both of those, then  
xpbproxy should be doing nothing at all with CLIPBOARD and you should  
have your CLIPBOARD back.
