Jeremy,

I tested 2.3.3-rc5 with 1.5.3apple6 and 2.3.3 with apple42 - no problem with 
the Wacom tablet, no crazy CPU!! both installations work fine on my system. 
No problem with KDE so far :-) I mainly use Kmail :-)
