Hi, my attempts to upgrade sqlite3 on a MacBook Pro (Intel, Mac OS X 10.4.10) failed with the error message below. Is this a known problem? Does anyone have a fix for it? Can't install seahorse (was: can't install gnome)

Dear all I couldn't install gnome on my PowerBook (see my earlier posts). I looked a bit closer at the error report and found that the problem seems to be related to seahorse (whatever that is). multi-gnome-terminal not displaying

Hello all, I did a "sudo port install multi-gnome-terminal" and it compiled and installed just fine. When I try to run it, the menus have no text and it runs but is unusable. I followed the instructions in the wiki at http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/wiki/GNOME but still no luck with multi-gnome-terminal. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jason

SymLinks need to be created during install

In order to get around some library referencing issues, I would like to create a symlink in /opt/local/lib that points to where the .dylib file actually resides. What is the necessary command (I know what it is from the terminal once the whole thing is activated) and where should I put this in the portfile? Thanks Susan

Gnucash ktoblzcheck configure error

Hello, I want to install Gnucash via Macports. Everything seemed to be easy (as usual with macports) but after a while installation hangs with an error and I can't figure out what went wrong. php_dbase extension

How does one go about installing php_dabse for the php5 package? And for that matter, how does one go about installing any of the other php extensions that are commented out in the php.ini file? Thanks for the help! -Abe
